This axe is great as it is not too big and not too small to get the job done. Camping is quite enjoyable but we all know that setting up camp is hard work. First, there is building shelter. Whether you are building a shelter from scratch or setting up tents this bad boy can help because you can use the butt like a hammer. Gathering wood is a must. You need fire to keep animals away, for warmth, and to cook food so an axe for chopping is highly recommended. Now there are many other chores but I am just going to stick to those that pertain to this magnificent piece like cutting rope, making kindling, gathi8ng food like swamp cabbage. All in all this is a great axe to have with you while camping as it is fully functional and made from forged iron steel. The head features a rustic dark finish.
