Viking Blade Of Ragnheidr Double Bit Hand Forged Damascus Steel Axe

This stunning double bit Damascus steel axe is hand forged with a double sharpened edged grinded down to perfection making this axe fully functional. The combined 1095 and 15N20 steel is heated to thousands of degree, beaten and folded approximately 350-358 times in a patterned fashion to create what you are seeing, the finished product. The double head Damascus steel axe tempered is around 58 to 60 HRC making it perfect for cutting and throwing. What you are looking at is approximately 520 layers. The head is held in place by the traditional wedged process and a secondary mosaic brass pin which goes through the thickness of the handle offering a sturdier feel. The handle is made from 100% sheesham wood, carved with a beautiful floral design and polished to perfection. A genuine brown leather sheath is included and has a beautiful diamond scale pattern and decorated brass rivets. Sheath comes with a built in 1 1/4″ belt loop. Overall Length: 18.5 Inches
